Wood Fired Pizza in the Saltwater Farm Garden

We make our sourdough pizza using fresh locally sourced ingredients. A standard Pizza Meal provides 4 to 5 flavors as well as a salad. More than one salad or side can be added upon request and this event can serve anywhere from 20 to 125 Guests. For events with more than 80 guests, we recommend adding hearty sides to this meal to ensure everyone gets enough to eat. The following are some of our popular pizza options. NOTES ABOUT OUR PIZZAS: You can add Prosciutto to any pizza for a meat option. Gluten Free (GF) pizza options (any flavor we are providing for the event) are available upon prearranged request. If there are more than a few GF guests, this will be considered an add-on. If your GF guests are Celiac, there is an option to bring a separate wood fire oven (Ooni) to avoid cross contamination. Our standard pizza meal includes four kinds of pizza and one salad. It’s easy to add any additional salads & sides, just ask!

INFORMATION REGARDING OUR SERVICES:

Saltwater Farm Wedding Event Services include:

  • All food, food preparation, cooking equipment needed by caterer, meal services as described in the contract signed by both parties (buffet, family style, or full service/plated), and necessary equipment for each service style, kitchen and floor staff, food delivery to different locations with their own EV on property, other than: transport fee of $250 for cocktail hour/appetizers at the Inn/Gathering Space after a wedding.

Salmonberry Catering Wedding Meal Services include:

  • Initial watering of dinner tables and refilling throughout the meal as needed; clearing of all rental tableware (other than alcohol glassware, which is bussed by the Bar Staff unless added to Salmonberry Catering responsibilities for a fee); and rinsing/packing for returning to the rental company.

  • Salmonberry Catering Wedding Meal Services cover up to eight vendors. Please note that if your wedding includes a band or has a vendor count of over eight, Salmonberry Catering will charge for each additional vendor.

  • Salmonberry Catering staff clear all food and non-alcoholic beverage items throughout the event and work with the bar to be sure all Saltwater Farm requirements for cleanup are met. Salmonberry Catering will assist with the cleanup of any food-related mess resulting from guests (to a reasonable degree) and work with the venue and other vendors to resolve any issues.

  • Casual events such as Welcome Dinners, Brunch, or other self-serve style meals are provided with Infused Water in a glass dispenser. All glassware is to be provided by the client or optionally as an add-on to our catering services with the cost depending on specific details.

PLEASE NOTE: Our services DO NOT include tableware. We highly recommend San Juan Shindigs for both tableware as well as furniture, lighting, and all decor. San Juan Shindigs is local to San Juan Island and offers a range of services along with rentals.

Possible add-ons if requested (costs TBD):

  • Setting dinner tables.

  • Providing disposables (plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, napkins) at cost plus a 25% fee. We recommend providing disposables yourself and are happy to assist with planning for this if you have questions.

  • Bussing ALL glassware, including bar beverage glassware cleared and packed for rental return.

  • MAST Bartender for simple beer and wine welcome dinner. We always recommend asking your bartender to do this but we are willing to add this service if needed. Basic cost is $500 for two hours of beer and wine MAST server pouring/serving (this can be customized), including ice, cooler, and any tools needed (wine key, bottle opener, etc.). Client provides alcohol and glassware. Rental glassware can incur an additional fee for bussing if the event is over 30 guests.

  • Other meals (breakfast, lunch, bridal party snacks, etc.) with pricing based on specifics. We offer delivery to all locations at Saltwater Farm and often do wedding day-of Brunch/Lunch and/or Snacks.
